The History Department of the University of West Georgia invites applications for a full-time tenure-track assistant professor in Asian History, all fields, beginning August 1, 2015. Responsibilities include teaching a world history survey as well as advanced undergraduate and graduate seminars. Candidates who can contribute to the department’s graduate fields in the History of Religion and / or War and Society in Global Perspective are especially encouraged to apply. Ph.D. required at time of appointment. Send letter, c.v., statement of teaching philosophy, short writing sample, sample syllabi, and three letters of recommendation.
